Great news for fans of the Subaru BRZ
and WRX STI: Subaru Canada has just announced that special-edition
BRZ and WRX STI models, named Hikari Edition, will be available
across Canada featuring a striking Hyper Blue exterior paint finish. They will be limited to 100 and 200 units, respectively, with base prices set at $30,495 and $41,895. Both cars sport exclusive black-painted exterior trim accents, black wheels, and unique blue interior seating and trim enhancements. The BRZ Hikari Edition is an enhancement from the Sport-Tech 6MT model, adding a performance Flexible Strut Tower Bar to improve handling dynamics and steering feel, as well as blue footwell illumination, a frameless auto-dimming interior mirror, and unique black exterior side fin blades. Meanwhile, the WRX STI Hikari Edition gets the same treatment, plus 18” BBS forged alloy wheels to reduced unsprung weight. By the way, hikari means “light” or “beam of light,” evoking the speed, performance, and precision of the Subaru WRX STI and BRZ. They sure look sharp, don’t they? |
